The world’s fastest-growing major cloud vendor is now also the world’s most-capable supplier of AI for business as Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise offers the industry’s most complete, most comprehensive, and most advanced set of solutions to help companies thrive in the AI Revolution.
Here’s what sets Gemini Enterprise apart:
- End-to-end capabilities: From AI infrastructure to models to seamless integration to world-class security and governance, Gemini Enterprise has been designed to simplify and accelerate AI transformations.
- Customer choice is paramount: Just as Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian has made this an indispensable part of his company’s rise to pre-eminence in the Cloud Wars, so too does Gemini Enterprise offer customers massive flexibility in choosing which vendors to deploy within and across the Gemini Enterprise platform.
- Accelerating time to value: While Gemini Enterprise is built upon the highly advanced and complex Google Cloud infrastructure and foundational software, all of that complexity has been hidden from users so that they can quickly and effectively leverage the consumer-grade UI to generate business outcomes that matter. One example: in the launch event, Virgin Voyages CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu said that an agent created by a marketing team member with no technology background immediately helped trigger record sales for the month of July.
- Flexible pricing: Options include Gemini Enterprise at $30 per user per month, and Gemini Business at $21 per user per month.
- Access to key enterprise data stores: From the Gemini Enterprise announcement: “An agent is only as good as its context, so Gemini Enterprise securely connects to a company’s data wherever it lives — from Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 to business applications like Salesforce and SAP. This enables agents to operate with a complete, proprietary understanding of the business, maximizing the accuracy and relevance of all AI interactions.”
- Governance is built in — not a chore for customers: From the announcement: Gemini Enterprise offers a “central governance framework, so companies can visualize, secure, and audit all their agents from one place. IT and security teams have the control and visibility needed to ensure compliance across the entire agent fleet.”

Google’s AI Expertise Comes to the Fore
Many Cloud Wars Top 10 companies offer parts of what Gemini Enterprise includes, but no other company pulls it all together so completely and seamlessly. And while many leading vendors can claim to have been working with AI for the past 10 or 15 years, very few if any have been doing so at the foundational levels that Google has.
The combination of that hard-earned expertise with the vision and execution forged by Kurian over the past six years for Google Cloud makes Gemini Enterprise a perfectly seamless extension of Google Cloud and the huge momentum it has in the market today as Q2 revenue was up a category-leading 32% to $13.6 billion.
In a Q&A session with analysts, Kurian cited four key reasons for why he believes Google Cloud is winning in the AI Era:
- best performance and cost for AI infrastructure,
- best platform for AI models and agents,
- best data and security platforms for AI, and
- powerful domain-specific enterprise agents.
Another key factor cited by Kurian during the launch is the partner ecosystem that Google Cloud has aggressively built over the past six years: “Gemini Enterprise is built on a principle of openness with an ecosystem of over 100,000 partners. Our commitment guarantees customer choice and allows the enterprise to continuously innovate by integrating the best third-party agentic solutions.”
Delta: A Not-So-Secret ‘Secret Weapon’?
During the launch event, Kurian highlighted the contributions of Google Cloud’s “Delta” team in helping customers rapidly generate significant ROI and business outcomes from their Gemini Enterprise investments. That Delta team is part of Google Cloud Consulting’s professional services team, and in a LinkedIn post following the launch, the head of that unit, Brad Little, offered some perspectives on the impact the Delta team has had for customers.
The work that this exceptional group does every single day within Google Cloud Consulting elevates not just what’s possible for our customers but what’s possible on the Google Cloud Platform….
But here’s our true differentiation: Anybody can show up with engineers and start “slinging code.” In the real world, that often leads to messy, unscalable results, and dead-end POCs. We don’t just write code; we architect success. We pair some of the world’s leading experts in AI and innovation with a proven methodology and approach that delivers results.
This ensures your boldest ideas are not only brought to life, but are built to scale, deployed reliably, and truly integrated into your business.
Our delta team successfully bridges the gap between whiteboard vision and real-world, sustainable implementation. We’re moving past being a “best-kept secret” and I’m excited to bring even greater transparency to what we deliver and how we do it.

Final Thought
Six years ago, shortly after Thomas Kurian took over as CEO at Google Cloud, he spoke at an investors conference and was asked how could he ever expect to catch up with much-larger and more-established competitors AWS and Microsoft Azure.
In reply, Kurian said — simply but presciently — that “what customers want from the cloud today and into the future is very different from what they’ve wanted in the past. We’re focused on those future needs.”
Now, I doubt that even someone as bright as Thomas Kurian could have envisioned six years ago the creation and launch of Gemini Enterprise. But what he surely did imagine and commit himself and his company to was using the power of the cloud and AI to help customers do things they’d never been able to do before, and in so doing create their own optimal futures.
And that promise and potential is why Gemini Enterprise has made Google Cloud the world’s #1 provider of AI for business.
