Highlights
00:52 — The leader for Q3 is Oracle, which saw a 45% growth rate. SAP had a growth rate of 38%. Similarly, Google Cloud had a 37.5% growth rate in Q3.
01:13 — AWS had a Q3 growth rate of 27% whereas Microsoft grew by 24% in the third quarter.
01:27 — On the top of the list for major players is companies that were previously considered to be software companies, like Oracle and SAP. Both organizations have ditched the “old stereotypes” that have traditionally followed them, as they have proven to be two fast-growing cloud businesses.
02:06 — Among the three big hyperscale companies — Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft — only Google Cloud saw a sequential increase in revenue from Q2 to Q3.
02:34 — Microsoft’s growth rate dropped by 4% from Q2 to Q3. AWS’ growth rate slipped from Q2 to Q3 by 6%. Overall, there are no “rampant runaway growth rates across the board” for Q3. Nonetheless, these companies have displayed remarkable performance despite the current economic realities.
