Highlights

Overall Event Impressions (01:47)

Whitaker explains that as a partner, Volt Technologies has always attended Community Summit, but this new event focused on AI agents and copilots, which aligns with their current customer base and internal adoption of AI.

Whitaker got a lot of value out of the event, especially since it was fresh, new conference with cutting-edge technology. He mentions that attending the event felt like a light-bulb moment for him, with every session providing new insights.

AI Agent & Copilot Summit is an AI-first event to define opportunities, impact, and outcomes with Microsoft Copilot and agents. Building on its 2025 success, the 2026 event takes place March 17-19 in San Diego. Get more details.

Mainstage Sessions (02:50)

Whitaker highlights the first keynote by Microsoft VP of AI Agents Ray Smith, who discussed how agents will define productivity in the future, emphasizing the shift from managing teams to managing agents. He notes the importance of understanding how many agents a human is managing. He also mentions a presentation by Microsoft’s Cecilia Flombaum about Dynamics 365 being in the golden age for Microsoft business apps.

Master Class Highlights (05:08)

Whitaker attended the track focused on Dynamics 365 Business Central and highlights AJ Ansari‘s session on Copilot Studio and its interaction with Business Central. Ansari showcased how agents can adapt the way Copilot works in Business Central, adding actions like creating and deleting records. Whitaker explains how this will help his team migrate data more efficiently and allow customers to interact with the application in a natural language way.
