00:33 — Oracle’s fiscal year ends on May 31. For the current fiscal year, Oracle is projected to have $50 billion in revenue. Looking ahead three years, with the fiscal year ending May 31, 2026, Oracle is projecting to have $65 billion in cloud revenue.
01:11 — Oracle’s mission to achieve this total revenue is to deliver end-to-end industry automation for the most complex business challenges.
01:25 — The differentiation that Oracle offers is that the company considers itself the most complete enterprise technology vendor. Oracle has developed on-premises solutions, industry solutions, business security solutions, and of course, cloud solutions.
01:47 — In order to reach its projected goal, Oracle feels that its SaaS business will lead to at least 3-4x uplift in the cloud. From its current $5 billion in application support, Oracle is anticipating upwards of $15 to $20 billion in revenue powered by its fusion SaaS applications.
02:23 — On the infrastructure side, Oracle’s total revenue is about $14 billion. The company believes it has 4-5x as much uplift in the cloud, taking the company between $56 and $70 billion over the next three fiscal years.
02:53 — Oracle, which has never offered its future views of what might happen, seems to have its cloud business together. Oracle now has more than 18,000 cloud infrastructure customers.
