As CTO, Savage sets technical strategy and advises customers on AI applications. He believes the Summit is ideal for businesses interested in enabling AI, focusing on leveraging AI in operations, and deploying simple agents. His session will cover methodologies for assessing AI suitability, deploying AI, and building simple agents for business processes, especially internal processes where AI can introduce efficiency and speed improvements.

Examples of AI Applications in Operations (06:16)

Henson Group deployed an AI chatbot for the HR department and it handles policy questions and allows the HR team to focus on higher-value tasks. The AI bot also assists in employee onboarding by handling background paperwork and integrating information into the HRIS system. He discusses the importance of starting with a body of knowledge for AI implementation, using the HR bot as an example. Savage notes it’s a best practice to perform significant upfront analysis and ensure data readiness.

Lessons Learned and Future Outlook

Savage shares details of a project where AI struggled due to misaligned customer data, highlighting the importance of cleaning and reviewing data to ensure AI success.

He expresses confidence for broad adoption of AI and agent technology in 2025, and he introduces the concept of a “constellation” of copilots suggesting that AI agents can be strategically placed across an organization to enhance efficiency.
