In Cloud Wars Horizon Minute, episode 79, Tom Smith explains the value that Kyndryl could deliver to customers with cloud-native frameworks designed to help them get cloud projects off the ground more quickly.

Highlights

00:15 — There’s no lack of challenges that tech leaders are confronting as they look ahead to 2023: budget pressures driven by macroeconomic factors, a lack of the required people or tech skills, complex IT estates, and so much more.

00:30 — Kyndryl is taking its latest step to help tech leaders modernize data and applications in the cloud amid these challenges.

00:42 — This week, the company introduced “Kyndryl Cloud Native Services” by applying a framework approach to modernizing and optimizing workloads in hybrid and multi-cloud environments through services including:

  • Automated backup
  • Patching
  • KPI monitoring
  • And more

01:10 — The services leverage a framework of code, workflows, and lifecycle management and align with the cloud adoption frameworks of Kyndryl’s Big 3 cloud partners — namely Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud.

01:32 — Officials said they are providing customers with faster cloud deployments that reduce the time for developer setup, simplified procurement processes, and consistent delivery across clouds.
