Highlights
40 — This week, Google Cloud announced three alliance expansions with key partners, all driven around the notion of pushing enterprise AI more aggressively. The partners that Google Cloud made deals with are Deloitte, Cognizant, and KPMG. Google Cloud described these as being extensions of existing alliances, notes Bob.
41 — Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian, in a press release, said, “Our advances in AI have the potential to transform work across industries.” Particularly, explains Bob, Kurian mentioned boosting employee productivity and giving Google Cloud customers new ways to connect with their customers.
06 — “We see an unrelenting and fast-paced shift by all the Cloud Wars Top 10 companies to not only develop new AI tools…but to get that force multiplier effect by engaging their partners ecosystems as completely as possible to help drive these new capabilities,” notes Bob.
55 — Bob proposes that what Google Cloud is trying to do here, in some ways, is build on the trusted relationships that those three systems integrators have with their customers and bank on the industry and functional expertise that they offer.
26 — All in all, Bob notes that this announcement is a “win across the board” and reflects Google Cloud’s increasing focus on going to market. “It also shows how the partners ecosystem is stepping up, having opportunities to participate in what is sure to be a ‘boom’ market.”
