Welcome to the AI Copilot Podcast, analyzing the latest AI Copilot and agent developments from Microsoft and its partners, delving into customer use cases, and exploring how AI plus Cloud helps customers reimagine business. In this episode, Tom Smith shares insights into the changing nature of work in the AI era.

Highlights

00:25 — A recent webinar highlighted fresh thoughts, ideas, and constructs presented by Liza Adams, an AI and executive advisor. They dovetail with Microsoft executive insights shared during AI Agent & Copilot Summit on the agent-human dynamic. One of her most important takeaways yields a question for viewers, which is, are you ready to have AI agents (or custom GPTs or whatever you choose to call them) in your org chart alongside your people?

01:15 — Examples of these functions include Market Analyzer, Campaign Performance Analyzer and Experience Drafter. In all, there were 11 examples in the most detailed chart.

02:00 — She used the example of Moderna, which has taken this construct very far and has, by its own public accounts, 750 custom GPTs operating in the company, which expects this strategy to be instrumental in launching new drugs.

02:30 — Another chart featured one individual serving as a “central hub” operating an agent ecosystem – all sorts of functions are managed by agents under the direction of the central hub (aka human).
