Highlights

01:06 — She focused on quick wins. Where you can really get wins is with GenAI’s ability to help boost access to data and information; to boost productivity; and to increase and enhance personalized experiences for customers.

02:12 — She also talked about how whether it’s these industry-specific solutions from Google Cloud, or many of the things that other Cloud Wars Top 10 companies are doing, more and more business executives are seeing there’s an unbelievable difference between the metaverse and what GenAI is going to be, which is measurable, quantifiable business benefits and outcomes.
03:11 — I think there’s a need to balance both the short-term approach, which Tharp’s blog post is aimed at, with a longer-term approach: How is this going to reshape our company? How do we rethink talent strategies when regaining tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands in some cases, millions of hours by deploying new GenAI tools?
