02:41 — Late last week, when Microsoft disclosed it will be laying off 10,000 employees, the company’s CEO Satya Nadella explained how Microsoft needs to reset its cost structure to match its revenue and customer demand. Despite these layoffs, the company will be hiring in other areas. Bob thinks this will be true across all of the Cloud Wars Top 10 companies.
03:44 — The cloud growth rates are moderating — the rate of growth is not as steep, but Bob feels this is a “remarkably healthy group.” Any industry that can have its leading companies disclose these sorts of growth rates is in pretty good shape.
