0:10 – SAP reported excellent earnings numbers for Q4, and within their announcements was a notable emphasis on the relatively new RISE with SAP program. It has been a game-changer for them, and Bob says he wants to talk about why that is.
0:50 – SAP CEO Christian Klein called RISE a “blockbuster success” in conversation with analysts. And Klein also said that SAP is really just getting started with the program. Even though they’ve had hundreds of engagements, SAP has 30,000 on-premises ERP customers and Klein believes that RISE will serve as an inducement for at least some of those customers to move to the cloud.
1:30 – Klein highlighted three specific benefits that RISE with SAP delivers. First, it allows customers to get their business processes redesigned. Second, cloud migration through a new, more flexible modular offering from SAP. And third, access to innovation as RISE customers can also tap into SAP’s Industry Cloud and other programs.
