In this analyst take, Tom Smith and Kieron Allen discuss their takeaways from the second keynote presentation given at Celosphere 2022, the annual conference held by Celonis in Munich, Germany about product development.

Highlights

00:39 — Celosphere 2022 is jam-packed with thousands of attendees and a constant stream of sessions. The first keynote, given by Celonis Co-CEO Alex Rinke, set the tone for the day. Every session to follow has been an extension of his keynote, focusing on how Celonis products can work in use cases.

01:08 — The second keynote, titled “A Path to Value,” emphasized how Celonis’ vision for more accessible process mining will come to fruition through applications.

01:39 — Celonis announced its partnership with Imporex, an e-commerce platform vendor. Together, the companies are bridging process mining execution, insight, and intelligence from Celonis to the Imporex commerce execution platform, which is for retail. For customers, this means they will receive substitutions if a product they order is unavailable and the substitute will arrive much quicker. Ultimately, this is a promising solution for sellers and buyers.

03:15 — The integrated approach developed by Celonis and Emporex is a two-stage process that benefits the seller and its platform and benefits the customer’s experience. The approach takes the friction off of the customer, which is an appealing development.

04:23 — Celonis has a wide-ranging partners ecosystem. At Celosphere, Celonis is featuring sessions from some of its partners such as IBM and Accenture. Attendees have a strong sense of the breadth of Celonis’ deep ecosystem, which is necessary to achieve the scale of growth it has set out to do.

05:27 — Celonis’ partner ecosystem will enable them to deliver tangible results through its products and demonstrate to viewers how they can adapt Celonis technology in smaller organizations.
