In this Cloud Wars Minute, Bob Evans reviews SAP’s Q1 growth rates and total revenue.
Highlights
00:35 — SAP released its Q1 numbers recently, and its S/4HANA Cloud revenue was up 77%, for a total revenue of $788 million.
01:00 — SAP’s total revenue for the quarter was up 10% to $8.19 billion. Within that, cloud revenue was up 24%, to $3.5 billion. SAP’s current cloud backlog is up 25% to $12.3 billion.
01:33 — The S/4HANA Cloud backlog was up 78% for a total of $3.76 billion. The business technology platform and SAP Signavio were up 47% for a total of $530 million. Finally, SAP is selling its stake in Qualtrics, which will yield about $7.7 billion.
