Microsoft Enlists 7 MCP Partners to Serve Customer Insights Into Dynamics 365 Sales

Seven data providers are connecting their platforms to Dynamics 365 Sales using Model Context Protocol (MCP), unlocking strong new sources of intelligence for salespeople within their native Microsoft systems.

The partnerships – with high-profile data providers including ZoomInfo and Dun & Bradstreet – will also make it easier for customers to connect MCP-compatible AI agents and tools with Dynamics 365 Sales.

These developments reinforce the importance— and value — of MCP as the standard means of connectivity in AI software stacks — both single-vendor and multi-vendor, and they highlight how MCP can enhance a core business function such as sales.

Better Access, Less Friction

With the new MCP partnerships, Dynamics 365 agents can tap a wide range of sales intelligence in real time, without requiring IT teams, or salespeople, to create integrations or duplicate data. Microsoft-built sales agents in Dynamics 365 Sales—including the Sales Qualification Agent and Sales Opportunity Agent—are built on Copilot Studio, which natively supports MCP. The partner MCP servers detailed below work with these agents as well as custom agents built in Copilot Studio, so customers can tap the power and flexibility of MCP in the agents they build for their company-specific workflows.

Below are details on the partners’ MCP deliverables, and what each partnership enables for customers and sales teams.

ZoomInfo

The company’s business-to-business (B2B) data can be connected to Microsoft Copilot Studio so that Dynamics 365 Sales agent users can enrich contact and account records inline with verified contacts, firmographics, technographics, company funding history, and intent signals – all without manual entry or switching between tabs. ZoomInfo maintains data on 400 million contacts, 100 million companies, and billions of buying signals.

Dun & Bradstreet

The D&B Commercial Graph MCP server allows AI agents to understand business identity, relationships, and risk data supplied by D&B across the global economy. It leverages the Commercial Graph within Copilot Studio for creation of custom agents and workflows across finance and credit, supply chain, compliance, and sales and marketing use cases. The MCP server takes advantage of D&B’s global standard D-U-N-S Number, a unique identifier linked to corporate data, such as companies’ credit profile.

LeadIQ

LeadIQ connects via MCP into the Sales Qualification Agent, which researches and scores every lead that enters Dynamics 365 Sales. LeadIQ serves as a knowledge source inside that research flow: as the agent evaluates a lead, it calls LeadIQ for verified work email and phone number details and those insights are available to a salesperson when they open the record.

Draup

Draup uses MCP to bring account and market intelligence into the Sales Qualification Agent; this could include a company’s hiring trends, funding updates, shifts in IT investment, or major organizational changes. Buying signals are translated into next actions for salespeople, with leads being researched, prioritized, and paired with recommended steps.

Gong

This expansion of the Gong-Microsoft partnership brings Gong’s account and deal insights directly into Dynamics 365 agents. With Gong’s real-time intelligence on customers – such as objections raised, risks flagged, or agreed-upon next steps – sales teams can execute on the next best set of actions.

Enlyft

Enlyft helps B2B technology vendors and their partners turn account intelligence — technology adoption details, buying signals, and competitive insights — into sales pipeline. Its MCP connector brings that intelligence into Dynamics 365 Sales so that a qualification agent reasons over details including a prospect’s tech stack and other relevant signals before a seller engages with that prospect.

HG Insights

HG Insights extends Dynamics 365 Sales agents with B2B market context through MCP so sellers gain direct access to company intelligence — technology adoption and AI maturity, IT investment signals, and market context—inside the Dynamics 365 agent. This helps salespeople prioritize accounts, uncover untapped opportunities, and determine their next actions.
