Kyndryl, a prominent IT infrastructure services provider, has expanded its alliance with SAP to add new services geared toward simplifying and accelerating customers’ move to Cloud ERP.
Building on Kyndryl’s own experience using RISE With SAP, the company is rolling out services ranging from managing migrations to application development and platform integrations. Services are based on the SAP Activate and RISE With SAP adoption methodology, aimed at smoothing customers’ migrations to SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
Cloud migrations, especially from on-premises SAP ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA, have been challenging due to the technical debt embedded in custom code and high costs. Kyndryl has been migrating its own systems to SAP in the cloud; in that experience, the company aimed to minimize customizations by using out-of-the-box software from SAP to accelerate the migration process and expects to apply its learnings to customer engagements.
Kyndryl established a center of excellence to expand its SAP skill base, with about 1,000 SAP experts and 100 professionals focusing on data migration. This team supported both Kyndryl’s internal migration and customer projects.

Migration and Transformation: Kyndryl works with customers to create transformation roadmaps to optimize SAP systems and drive efficiencies. Kyndryl supports customers by leveraging advanced data mapping, automated data integrity, and intelligent data archiving technology.
Data Insights, Analytics, and AI: Kyndryl provides AI and GenAI services to unlock value from SAP data. With expertise in data and analytics, Kyndryl delivers business insights during and after SAP S/4HANA Cloud modernization.
Application Development: Kyndryl offers application development services for SAP platforms.
Integrations: Kyndryl’s services include application and data integration services aligned with SAP Clean Core.
