At the recent Oracle AI World conference in Las Vegas, Bob Evans, Founder, Cloud Wars, sat down with T.K. Anand, Executive Vice President, Oracle, to discuss Oracle’s significant advancements in AI integration and what this means for customers.
Empowering AI Transformation with Data
Anand began by highlighting the Oracle AI Data Platform, emphasizing its core purpose. “The AI Data Platform is all about helping our customers achieve AI transformation through the power of their own data,” says Anand. Unlike standard AI models training on publicly available data, Oracle’s platform uniquely understands each customer’s private data, business processes, applications, and workflows. This depth of insight is crucial for organizations aiming to develop AI strategies that drive distinct business outcomes.
Unified Data Access and Integrated Infrastructure
Oracle offers customers the flexibility to bring data from their databases and applications into a unified lakehouse, stream it as it’s generated, or access it on demand. This data is then managed in a unified catalog, enabling customers to build and refine AI agents with consistency and accuracy.
Evans also asked how the AI Data Platform benefits users across Oracle’s vast product portfolio, including Fusion and NetSuite customers. “That’s going to be one of our differentiators,” says Anand. “We have the largest portfolio of SaaS applications — the Fusion Applications suite, NetSuite, industry applications, and our on-premises applications.”
Leading AI Transformation Across Industries
Anand explained, “The AI transformation is coming; it’s going to disrupt every industry. Every customer is asking, ‘How do I reinvent myself before someone else does?’” The key, he said, is bringing all business data together so that AI models deeply understand the enterprise, allowing organizations to create AI agents that augment or automate business workflows. That’s precisely where Oracle’s AI Data Platform delivers value.
At the core of this platform lies the Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse — an open framework that ensures customers aren’t locked into a single vendor. This flexibility allows businesses to manage data in ways that best support a variety of cutting-edge technologies.

Healthcare is among the industries seeing transformative results. “We’ll offer an AI Data Platform for healthcare customers to build, extend, and customize solutions,” Anand said. “But we’re doing something even more foundational — building the next-generation Oracle Health AI Application Suite, designed with a data- and AI-first approach.” This suite includes a core set of applications built on a semantic database running on Oracle Autonomous AI Database, supported by a knowledge graph with extensive regulatory information and AI-powered agents that help clinicians generate medical records and streamline reimbursement. “Larry [Ellison] called it the end-to-end ecosystem approach to solving the healthcare problem,” remarked Anand.
Anand concluded, “Because of our deep relationships with customers and the applications we provide, we can deploy the AI Data Platform in ways no one else can. We’re privileged to help lead this AI Revolution for our customers.”
With Oracle AI Data Platform and integrations across its application ecosystem, Oracle is uniquely positioned to help organizations harness the full power of AI — putting tailored, industry-specific intelligence directly at their fingertips.
