In today’s Cloud Wars Minute, I explore Larry Ellison’s recent comments about how Oracle foresees more agreements between cloud vendors to create a true multi-cloud for customers.

00:10 —There are big changes coming to the Cloud Wars in multi-cloud. Larry Ellison said Oracle’s intention is to interconnect to all the clouds because he thinks customers will demand that. 01:53 — Ellison said this interconnection may come as a surprise to his very good friend, Marc Benioff of Salesforce, but he’s convinced they will soon reach an agreement where Salesforce and Oracle clouds are intermingled.

Industry vendors are going to have to learn to put aside their competitive battles and limited worldviews about what true multi-cloud is.
