As a chief information security officer (CISO), I was eager to attend this the 2023 RSA Conference in San Francisco last month, and I must say, it did not disappoint. While the conference boasted an impressive array of new tools and buzzworthy innovations, it left me with a few key takeaways that I see as crucial for CISOs and security professionals.

Cybersecurity is an interconnected ecosystem that relies on numerous technologies and processes working harmoniously to build an effective program. However, there seemed to be a disconnect between the vendors and the need for holistic, end-to-end solutions that address the complexity of current security programs.
As a CISO, I am acutely aware of integrating various tools and technologies to create a robust security posture. I hope that future conferences will prioritize the need for integration, ensuring that vendors not only offer innovative products but also work together to provide comprehensive solutions for organizations.
