Welcome to Episode 19 of the Cloud Wars Horizon Minute — featuring news and commentary hosted by Acceleration Economy analyst Tom Smith. Each episode provides insights into one or more Innovation Accelerators on the Cloud Wars Horizon.

This episode is brought to you by Cloud Wars Expo. This in-person event will be held from June 28th to 30th at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California

Highlights

00:10 — Tom details the final set of five innovators that will be on the Cloud Wars Expo Innovation Path. All 15 profiled companies are competing to be named Cloud Wars Startup of 2022.

01:52 —  Ivaldi‘s value proposition: Rather than absorbing the costs of maintaining inventory and transportation, maintaining digital inventory, and manufacturing spare parts on demand — it saves time and money and reduces waste and carbon.

02:11 —  Cogniac combines (AI) models, cloud computing, and big data to capture images of visible items. Then, it uses those images to perform functions including detecting and eliminating defects.

02:30—  HandsFree helps customers navigate everything from ERP Selection and Design to Analytics and Business Intelligence. The company works, for the most part, in the Microsoft Dynamics space.

02:45 —  Scytale has created a toolset that is designed to ease and maintain the implementation of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance, both of which have become increasingly important as businesses strive to protect data for customers and themselves.

03:10 —  Landit develops a system designed to increase retention, mobility, and engagement of women and diverse talent.
