00:28 – Bob says a huge problem that is confronting businesses today is that they know they need to be fully data-driven, but do not have access to all of their data, which is currently siloed, making it impossible for companies to get the end-to-end view.

He says a big connection between Microsoft and Kyndryl is to take mainframe data and make it available in the cloud, specifically with Microsoft Power Platform. He says pulling all this mainframe data to a central cloud will allow business customers to be able to act on the data and create applications based off of it.
02:05 – The need to make data accessible in a central location is driven by the need for customers to have complete access to their data, says Bob. He says Microsoft Power Platform will be key in low-code/no-code abilities and AI-enabled Power Platform.
02:33 – Bob says he “cannot overstate the importance and significance of this’ because tech companies are realizing that it is their responsibility to help their customers access all their data. He says this is now the basis for the digital economy to “not just survive, but thrive.”
