Highlights
00:15 — Last week, SAP filed its Q1 financial results. Its biggest driver of success was RISE, which is a non-technology or non-product offering. So far, there are no competitors for the SAP RISE program.
00:50 — The RISE program has had a significant impact on SAP in the last four quarters. For instance, CEO Christian Klein reported that RISE drove its ERP product revenue up in the last quarter. Customers were also more easily able to find and deploy other products and services through this.
01:50 — There have been three primary reasons that Klein identified for why customers are adopting RISE. Firstly, it enables them to reimagine and reconstruct new business processes that match the digital requirements of the future.
02:20 — RISE also allows them to move to an agile cloud ERP, S/4HANA Cloud, and helps them prepare the foundation to move into the digital future.
02:45 — It provides them a platform for easy adoption of industry clouds, sustainability cloud, and other procurement and access to suppliers via the Business Network.
