In this moment from Bob Evans’ conversation with Brad Haupt of Monument Health, the two discuss how automation and Workday are reshaping healthcare with a focus on outcomes and experience over cost.
Highlights
00:09 — We started five years ago doing it manually — going into Epic and pulling up records and looking at records, one at a time. Now we’re hoping that we can take that data and just use an agent to go do that for us and bring that data back to us and present it to us.
00:45 — Supply chains have always been thought of. You try to reduce the cost, but I would argue that we’re there for patient experience, physician, caregiver experience, and quality outcomes. So we’re trying to lower cost times, but there are times we buy the more expensive thing because the quality is better and the outcome for the patient is better.
