00:26 — Recently, Larry Ellison was giving a talk at a big event, and he said that AI is now the greatest achievement in human history. And what’s interesting is, 18 months ago, Ellison posed the question, “Will AI turn out to be the greatest achievement in human history?“
01:15 — Now today, 18 months after posing that question, Ellison clarified it. He said, “There’s no question whatsoever. We’ve gone from the possibility of it to it’s absolutely the case.“ He described what could happen in a couple of areas including healthcare with AI’s ability to help to not only do early detection of serious diseases, particularly cancer, but also then create vaccines.
02:22 —The second was with agriculture. He said, “We’re currently doing satellite imaging,” he said, “from California to Kenya.” And he said on farms, “We’re going to be able to go into a specific farm and say, ‘In this part of the farm, you need more irrigation. Over here, you need more fertilizer.’“ He said, “We can do this for farms. We can do this for states. We can do this for countries.”
