ServiceNow and AWS have announced an expansion of their existing strategic collaboration with a new connector that they hope will accelerate AI‑powered business transformation across the enterprise.
The new connector enables users to leverage multimodal models created and fine-tuned on Amazon Bedrock for GenAI workflows on ServiceNow’s Now Platform. Connecting Amazon Bedrock models with ServiceNow will allow organizations to expedite the development and deployment of GenAI products.
Furthermore, the connector provides users with a choice of third‑party models that can be selected based on the needs of each workflow.
“We are committed to empowering our customers with the industry’s best tools and resources by leveraging AWS Marketplace to build, deploy and scale GenAI,” said Chris Grusz, Managing Director of Technology Partnerships, AWS. “Working with ServiceNow, we’re helping our enterprise customers accelerate GenAI deployments and get the most value out of their cloud investments.”
Extended Integrations on AWS Marketplace
ServiceNow has also announced the availability of new offerings in AWS Marketplace. ServiceNow Security Incident Response integration with AWS Security Hub is a new integration that enables users to create security incidents in SecOps on the Now Platform, automatically leveraging security data from the AWS Security Hub. Once resolved, incident response data is updated in AWS Security Hub.
Furthermore, integrating Amazon Business Procurement with ServiceNow Procurement Operations enables users to gain better visibility into core procurement areas. These include approved suppliers, purchase requests, price changes, order confirmation, and shipping notifications.
“Our partnership with AWS is accelerating business transformation for our joint customers,” said Paul Fipps, president of Strategic Accounts at ServiceNow. “More than ever before, organizations demand integrated, end‑to‑end solutions that enhance user experiences and optimize technology investments.
“Together, ServiceNow’s GenAI workflows and AWS’s next‑gen cloud capabilities deliver on that promise.”
The collaborative efforts being undertaken by ServiceNow and AWS have already impacted customers. “Leveraging the ServiceNow for AWS offering directly supports our mission to accelerate business outcomes,” said Ed Macosky, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Boomi. “This collaboration enables us to harness the full power of AI, streamline our workflows, and enhance digital experiences across our organization. We are not only realizing significant cost savings but also transforming our GenAI workflows to drive innovation.”
With these expanded integration capabilities, more customers will be able to quickly realize the benefits of GenAI. In a rapidly evolving landscape where competitive advantages are at stake, the speed of deployment becomes a crucial factor for businesses.
ServiceNow and AWS are collaborating to deliver joint solutions that will help companies accelerate the time it takes to build and launch GenAI workloads. That’s a big potential win for customers of the two companies.
