00:20 — As another example of the differences between a native digital and a native analog, Christopher says that if a native digital were on this very same call with Tony, and after hanging up, someone asked everyone what they did, he and Tony would likely say “I just had a digital call or a Zoom meeting.”
00:48 — By contrast, a native digital person would likely say “I just had a meeting.” Christopher says that Hannah Grady Williams, a legendary 24-year-old entrepreneur who he finds inspiring, might even describe it as an “in-person meeting.”
01:07 — The “‘aha’ moment” here is that it has never before been the case where human beings’ primary life experience isn’t in the analog world. In the past, the analog world was the primary way that everyone experienced life. Today, we go to school, interview for jobs — at least in part — find a spouse, shop, live, work, and play digitally first in very profound ways. It’s just that analog natives still default to the analog world.
