Highlights
30 — Today’s focus is on four conversations you should be having as a security leader. The first is with your CIO. You want to make sure that the technology that you’re investing in is resilient. This may mean a transition into the cloud or a redistribution of software-as-a-service (SaaS) tools.

05 — Building on that, let’s focus on human resources (HR). A conversation with HR is not about security awareness training. This is about making sure that the skills that you’re investing in as an organization are aligned with what is coming. Maybe what’s coming is using and applying artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
52 —The third conversation is with whoever’s in charge of finance or revenue. Now, supply chain attacks have really started to take center stage. You want to make sure, in this conversation, that you’re able to talk about contract terms, breach notifications, and security requirements that flow downstream to your organization.
41 — The last conversation is with whoever’s in charge of growth, sales, or marketing. You want to make sure that these people are integrating the organization’s preparedness into product or service positioning. Alignment is absolutely key between security and these value centers.
21 — Go out there. Start having those conversations. You’re not going to have all the answers right away, but start having them.
