In Episode 67 of Enterprise AI Minute, Aaron explains the reasons why Oracle might think it can “stomp” Salesforce with the newest version of its Fusion sales solution.

This episode of the Enterprise AI Minute is sponsored by Community Summit North America, the largest independent gathering of the Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem taking place October 10-13 at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida. With 500+ Dynamics 365 & Power Platform sessions and more than 300 speakers, this event is a must-attend for Microsoft customers. Visit summitna.com for more details.

Highlights

00:53ย โ€” In July, Oracle announced a new version of the Fusion sales solution, which is part of its AI-powered Oracle Fusion Cloud customer experience platform. Although new Cloud versions and releases are pushed out often, in an email from a PR rep to a tech news site, the message made a bold statement that the latest version of the Fusion sales raises the bar and stomps all over Salesforce territory.

01:54ย โ€” There’s no doubt about the new version of Fusion sales being rich with new features and functionality. However, Salesforce’s AI solution, Einstein, was launched in 2016, whereas Oracle’s AI solution was not announced until late 2021. So, Oracle is playing catchup in many regards. Adding AI to your latest solution doesn’t necessarily mean it will “stomp” the competition.

02:44 โ€” While AI can give you an edge, you must have the right foundation in place โ€” with how you’re delivering your solutions, your partner ecosystem, etc. โ€” and have organizations on board with what your solution can do for the company strategy.
