However, our company runs 8 instances of AX 2012 R3 and needed a solution to automate intercompany transactions. By developing a process that mimics direct delivery, from instance to instance, the manual processes involved with ordering and distribution created seamless electronic trading between buyer and supplier. Orders can be entered in one instance and fulfilled from another instance, directly to the original customer. Also allowing real-time communication, supply chain information and inventory order processing.

This session is a side by side review of the differences, strengths and weaknesses of Business Central manufacturing and supply chain compared with the out of the box Dynamics GP manufacturing functionality. The session will flip back and forth between Dynamics GP features and Business Central matching features. Features in Dynamics GP that are not implemented in Business Central will be discussed, including solutions that the presenter(s) have seen in the field.
