The Importance of Cybersecurity Integration
12:15 – This week, an Iowa farm services provider announced a cybersecurity threat causing systems to be temporarily offline while they contained the issue.
15:31 – Aaron discusses the rise of citizen developers as well as the growing use of artificial intelligence. Additionally, he talked about security and data clouds. For example, a recent Enterprise AI Battleground article covered AI cloud and the data revolution. These examples drive the point of how essential intrusion prevention and cybersecurity integration are.
18:35 – Bridget shares, “Business processes itself really matters and is also worth investigating your security measures at every point of a process.”

AI & Monitoring Startup Integration
28:35 – Zendesk recently acquired an AI startup called Cleverly. It uses AI-powered human augmentation to assist customer service agents.
29:31 – Cisco also announced their intent to acquire the monitoring startup, Epsagon. This helps with monitoring the modern applications being built, tracing metrics, and ensuring performance and security. Furthermore, it streamlines governance processes.
