In Ep. 69 of Enterprise AI Minute, Aaron brings up the concept of AI-generated posts, on the rise on LinkedIn, and why authenticity is necessary now more than ever.
Highlights
00:50 – Aaron talks about viral sensations and how we are seeing more social media users reach for their “15 minutes of fame.” Within this uproar is an increase in AI-generated posts, where “the wording is a bit off, the context is missing or distorted, or the post seems disconnected from the site’s voice,” he says.
01:34 – Aaron confirms that AI bots are creating a variety of content — some of which has gone viral.
02:00 – A site that is “infiltrating LinkedIn in a humorous way” is Viral Posts Generator, says Aaron. Viral Posts Generator uses AI to create what it refers to as “the perfect LinkedIn posts.” Aaron says that LinkedIn influencers are on the rise, after having taken over other platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
02:54 – These LinkedIn influencers have “infiltrated the business world” and are pushing out fluffy, pretentious, and fake posts that preach an unrealistic message, says Aaron.
03:18 – Aaron says for him, authenticity is the core and that is exactly what people will spot on LinkedIn. He says LinkedIn posts should be coming from a “level of experience, practicality, and real-world nature.”
03:55 – The way AI is really being used depends on what we do now. Aaron says that “we shouldn’t let AI do our thinking.”
