In this Innovation Profile, Tom Smith provides insights on process mining software provider ABBYY.

Highlights

00:26 — ABBYY Timeline comprehensively addresses the functional requirements of a process intelligence system by supporting five core functions: discovery, analysis, monitoring, prediction, and simulation.

01:37 — In terms of discovery, ABBYY offers process mining and task mining, giving customers visibility into what happens with enterprise systems and processes as well as what goes on with individuals at their desktops.

01:59 — ABBYY’s process monitoring allows customers to define process patterns that the system uses to automatically scan new data in real time as processes are being executed. When a defined matching condition or violation is detected, the system automatically can notify users or trigger an action in other systems.

02:38 — Simulation is made possible by ABBYY’s digital-twin capabilities. ABBYY gives the customer a computer model that behaves like the actual process; this allows testing of scenarios — and possible changes — without affecting what goes on in live processes.

03:29 — ABBYY’s platform is designed and packaged so that a customer can use as much, or as little, as needed, and expand as their requirements evolve. Timeline supports structured and unstructured activities and information.

05:12 — ABBYY’s no-code architecture minimizes deployment time, even for companies that have programming resources available. The no-code approach empowers analysts to build and launch apps that closely align with their needs and deliver fast time to value.

06:09 — You have a great opportunity to see these benefits for yourself by taking a free trial that you can sign up for at the ABBYY website. This trial is the full version of the product including all 5 “pillars” referenced.
