In this moment from IBM Think, Raj Datta, VP of ISV and AI partnerships, shares how IBM works with other companies to build out reliable AI platforms and fosters growth.

The AI Ecosystem Q1 2024 Report compiles the innovations, funding, and products highlighted in AI Ecosystem Reports from the first quarter of 2024. Download now for perspectives on the companies, investments, innovations, and solutions shaping the future of AI.

Highlights

00:16 — IBM is focused on any company in the software or B2B industry that wants to grow and build out a reliable platform. Datta references Adobe and ServiceNow as two partners that exemplify this collaboration, which the company showcased at IBM Think.

00:36 — In addition to those major partners, IBM also works with hundreds of startups. These companies are using IBM’s AI as the foundation so they can “jump into the game.” Datta notes that IBM is “making AI available forever and in a responsible way.”

00:55 — During Think, IBM emphasized that with its models, such as Granite and InstructLab, the cost of computing is significantly lower than its competition.

01:14 — Datta credits this as being a reason customers are attracted to IBM offerings. With the governance aspect, IBM ensured customers’ data was protected and it wasn’t building models off their data. Now, it’s adding an additional element of the cost of computing.

For further insights, watch the full interview with IBM’s Raj Datta.
