Highlights
Innovation (00:30)
Salesforce recently made major announcements pertaining to its AI service, Einstein. Last year, the company released Einstein GPT and Einstein Copilot. There are two major additions to Einstein:
- Data Cloud Vector Database automatically brings business data into your prompts. It also supports unstructured data – PDFs, transcripts, emails, and other documents – and structured data that may be hosted in a database.
- Einstein Copilot Search lets users more easily search and answer queries from users using a variety of data sources. This tool allows organizations to keep their internal or customer data within the Salesforce data centers.
Funding (03:41)
Paris-based startup Nabla announced a $24 million Series B funding round, bringing the company to a $180 million valuation. The funding will support the company in developing a copilot for doctors, helping them with administrative tasks and enabling them to focus fully on the patient.
Nabla’s offering records and transcribes conversations for doctors and healthcare professionals during consultations and other appointments. It identifies the most crucial parts of the conversation, and then automatically generates a medical report.
Solution of the Week (07:28)
Articul8 was initially built within Intel but is now its own startup. It’s an enterprise-standard platform that can read texts and images but functions within BCG’s data centers. The product is made for companies in industries that need high levels of security and specialized domain knowledge, such as financial services, aerospace, and more. Articul8 also allows customers to choose from on-cloud, on-prem, or hybrid deployment.
