After implementing Yooz’s automated invoice processing solution, Shelor Motor Mile saw a multitude of immediate benefits – including significantly decreased processing times, increased accessibility for remote or traveling workers, and the efficiency of working with an entirely paperless system, opening the door for more streamlined, optimized processes in all other facets of business.
Established in 1974, Shelor Motor Mile now has more than 400 employees, many of which are mobile or working outside of the office, and sees anywhere from 2,700 to 4,800 invoices per month. The company needed a solution that would enable remote employees to create a purchase request, send an invoice or give approval: all while on the go. When the company decided to go completely paperless in 2020, they asked CDK, their ERP provider, to recommend an AP automation solution and were directed to Yooz.

Boothe was initially concerned about a difficult implementation and training process for her teams, but after going through Yooz’s hands-on training and experiencing a seamless transition, the whole team warmed to the new process and the benefits of the solution were seen immediately.
“We are all typically comfortable and familiar with using actual paper invoices and documents,” said Boothe. “The idea that those familiar aspects are eliminated and are replaced with technology can be a scary thought to those of us who have been processing invoices by hand for the majority of our careers. But Yooz makes life easier. It has truly increased our productivity and decreased time, effort and errors.”
