How Celonis and ServiceNow Co-Create to Fix Broken Work

In this News Desk interview, recorded at Celosphere 2022, Tom Smith speaks with Rob Popovic, Global Head, Indirect Sales, Celonis. The two discuss the partnership between Celonis and ServiceNow and how Celonis’ partner ecosystem is addressing the challenges customers are facing in today’s world.

00:40 — Tom asks Popovic for an overview of the partnership between Celonis and ServiceNow. He says the partnership between the two companies is backed by a generational opportunity to help businesses transform by bringing intelligence and action together in a way that was never thought possible. In the last year, the companies have developed successful use cases, integrated a fluid, go-to-market motion, and created a co-selling model in which Celonis sells ServiceNow’s software and vice-versa.

02:19 — Popovic discusses the concept of “broken work,” which refers to disconnected processes. He says “the system is broken, work is broken.” Alongside ServiceNow, Celonis has developed a new formula to fix work, transform businesses, and help them achieve outcomes that matter most. This formula is called “Find, Frame, and Fix.” Celonis finds and frames broken work by uncovering inefficient business processes, and ServiceNow fixes them with its workflow hyperautomation platform.

04:09 — Tom asks Popovic to describe Celonis’ Connected Solutions product that was developed with ServiceNow. The product brings together Celonis and ServiceNow technology, delivered by a partner, around a customer use case. Connected Solutions revolves around fixing process inefficiencies and risk management. Celonis announced at its annual conference that it is bringing Connected Integrated Risk Management to the marketplace in the United States.

06:55 — Where will the partnership between the two companies head in the upcoming year? Popovic says the companies will invest their resources to understand how they can make products and platforms work better. In the next year, Popovic predicts that in 2023, Celonis and ServiceNow will solve more issues in the ERP space, driving connected solutions at scale.
